| Re: Phaeton Picture Thread. From what I hear, VW will be presenting a sneek peak to German owners of the Phaeton of a facelift in March. Looks like it won't be the last we see of this. |

| Re: Phaeton Picture Thread. Nice pictures! The Phaeton has a timeless design, both inside and outside, I don't think it is showing its age yet... I really like the tail lights, which look more advanced than any of its competitors (except maybe for the BMW 7er, which also has nice CELIS LEDs). Somehow, VW gives you the feeling that the Phaeton is more special than a BMW 7er, Mercedes S or Audi A8; by building this special assembly line (very clean, wooden floors, a lot of glass, employees wearing clean suits), it almost appears as if every Phaeton is custom-built, although I suppose the production method doesn't differ from other factories (of competitors)? |

It's on full blast or at least running half its capacity all the time, so we never get to see those airconditioner wooden panels close by itself. Also, I have to admit the "diffused cooling" doesn't really work very well, and the window fog demister gets defeated by the morning chill. Quote:
