Re: Passat R36 Picture Thread

Put it simple, the Volkswagen Passat is the best looking mainstream midsize car on the market.

The current B6 version looks like a scaled-down Phaeton. And that's a good thing, because it means the Passat is the only mainstreamer midsize that actually looks presidential.

It also has the best interior in its class. It's beautifully made with discreet design and a premium feel to it.

Passat 3.6 V6 FSI - *US. Spec model*

*That explains the tiny ugly plate in the back*

I am considering a Passat Sport 3.2 V6 FSI DSG as a replacement for my ageing and tired company Vauxhall Vectra. But truth must be said, the Subaru Legacy 3.0 R Spec B appears to be a better value for the money.

Re: Passat R36 Picture Thread

Kowalski, I also feel that the Subaru is a really compelling choice when you compare it with the Passat. But a Japanese car will always be a Japanese car and a German car will always be a German car...

To be serious though, you aren't making a wrong choice with either. The boxer in the Scoob is sweet, as is DSG in the VW... If you ask me, I'll get the Passat. How do they differ in price?

BTW, thanks for the pics.

It is the "normal" nokian tyres homepage. I wanted to search for some informations and photos about this Bentley top speed run on ice...then I found this "material homepage" from Nokian...
