Re: Flexibility times in 4th gear (80-120 kph)

Btw: From the same Nardo test (2001):
The Porsche 996 GT2 testcar did 3,1 s from 80-120 kph. And that's the best time (Sport Auto Supertest: 3,3 s)

So this is the 2nd flexibility data from that high speed test...It must be true

Well Porsche's flexibilty are usually spot on, usually not changng by much from test to test. You know what strikes me weird is that the Gallardo E-Gear featured in Sport Auto's supertest was much faster than the Gallardo SE in Sport Auto's small test.

80-100 km/h:

Gallardo Supertest: 2.2/2.7/3.2

Gallardo SE: 2.2/3.5/5.9

With the increased power and shortned gear ratio's the SE should easily be able to match or even beat the standard Gallardo

Yet..80-180 km/h:

Gallardo: 16.0 seconds

Gallardo SE: 21.1 seconds

Same goes for the SLK55, if you take a look at the figures collected by Sport Auto when they tested it against their Black Series SLK you'll notice the in-time acceleration was much less stronger

Damn...this list is dominated by Porsche! The F430F1 is impressive and so is the MTM RS6... awesome car that is.
