Not even this superb 640bhp figure can make the car really move and supercars with up to 200hp less (996 GT2) can keep up or even beat it. The F1 has the exact figures for bhp and torque but with more than 1000lbs lighter (1184) look what it can do. |

On a track is where the LP640 will fair much better against a GT2, currently the 2004 model (483PS) runs around the Hockenheim in 1:11.6, the standard Murcielago 6.2 runs a 1:12.0. Again, not a difference so I won't be surprised when the LP640 with more power, better brakes and a tighter suspension beats the GT2, and probably match the Zonda F. However the upcoming 997 GT2 will most likley beat both. Overall I think the new GT2 will beat the Murcielago, pretty easily, but i'll take the Murcielago anyday. | |
