Even the 3.0 bested the SLK 55 AMG.

There times seem pretty odd. Perhaps there is more info to go with the lap times...

They seem out of range.... how is the 3.0 out performing a SLK55

. Not saying its impossible, but its too close and and the SLK55 should have out done the 3.0 for sure. Perhaps weather conditions, or something else is out of place.

Alex, in this issue SLK55 and Z4M were testad the same day. I havent read the issue but I dont think Z4 3.0 and SLK350 were tested the same day as SLK55 and Z4M. It's two different tests but publiced in the same number.

Sportauto test several hundreds cars every year, of course they cant test all cars at the same time but at least they always use the same driver. Thats one criteria SPortauto has decided to use everytime they drive a car around a track. Thats fair instead of using different drivers with different driving skills.

Not dispuiting the fairness of SportAuto, but im interested in why the times worked out that way... It just doesn't seem right.... Would like to know more info as to why it is that way.

BTW sportauto has also driven Z4 3.0 with 231hp, laptime 1,18,1 min. So Z4 is a great handling car, no doubt.

I must have missed this thread, some interesting laptimes!

I'm guessing this circuit is more about how good the handleing of a car is, and power, because there are some very powerful cars quite far down the list!

Is this same circuit the F1 drivers use in the GPs?
