Aftermarket GPS

Do any of you own, operate, or are in the market for one of those aftermarket GPS units? They are userfriendly and can realy make a difference, however, I am not sure if they are reasonable.

Garmin has a good selection of afermarket GPS units that may be used. Take a look:

Streetpilot C510

Re: Aftermarket GPS

I use Magellan RoadMate 360, it's pretty good. The only problem with it is that it gets confused and doesn't know where it is when I use it in the city 'cause of tall buildings. Poor signal reception I guess.

My cousin is looking for one. I think I'll get him the Magellan RoadMate 700:

Or the GARMIN StreetPilot C330:

Hey YAZ...I have a Magellan 700 that I bought for my E320. It is a very nice unit and has the charger and the carrying case, plus I have a mount for it. If you are interested PM me. I have a MAC and I note that an update is available for it that would cost me $100 and I have to mail it to Magellan. But if you have access to a PC then you can download the update for $95 and do it yourself.

It is like new.

Re: Aftermarket GPS

BMWFREAK, don't you think of upgrading your car and putting an "official" one? I mean, even though i don't have a GPS in my car, anytime i want i can order a new one, and have volvo instal it, just like if i order it with my car at first hand.

Yes I do plan in upgrading my car, although we don't know when that will be since I am still in college and am not looking to make payments just yet, but yeah that is one thing I definitely want.
