| Re: Turbo and Kompressor? Nope, not much more than a vague notion myself, either. I knew people who had them on your typical Japanese cars, WRXs, 200SXs/Silvias, Skylines, though. I think what you said is what they do - they keep the engine running for a set period after the car's been turned off. It's basically the same as you letting the car idle, only you don't have to be there to watch it and turn it off again. The oil and cooling systems work as normal, including supplying oil to the turbo bearings. |
