| Re: American Football For those of you who say football (American) isn't as brutal as rugby, what about Joe Theisman (I believe it was) who got up with a compound fracture in his leg... and the bone broke the skin? Or this guy in college, I saw on TV. He was a halfback, started running, got tackled, and when he got up, his knee pointed straight, and his toes pointed 90 degrees left. |

| Re: American Football No but I'll tell ya about naste! The best and most feared safety of all time Roney Lott of the Sanfransico 49ers got his baby finger caught in some guy's helmet during the Superbowl many years ago, from the tip to the first joint was destroyed, he ripped his finger out of the guy's Helmet with the part that was caught still in it! AND HE KEPT PLAYING ANYWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Take that rugby! ![]() |
