I'm loving BMW even more now.

Two days ago I was a work and while sitting inside the resturant in the huge hall I was sitting down with my collegues enjoying the free lunch. As usual I ate pretty fast and just sat down waiting for time to pass by so that the damn fashion show could start. When suddenly I saw a veichle. It was blue and had this day light aura around it and when it pulled up where we were sitting I was star struck. It was a freaking M coupe and it got better when I saw a 3-series coupe behind.
That was the first time I had seen the cars live. I Quickly jumped out of my chair and ran to look at the rear of the 3-series coupe and it was a 335i. Sweeeeeeeeet What suprised me most was that the 335i looked really sexy and desirable despite the fact that I have expressed my hatered for it ever since I saw pictures of it. The proportions were good and it didn't look akward as it does in pictures. When I ran to the cars the M coupe driver said "At least someone is happy to see the cars.
I talked to the female driver about future bimmers and she told me the following about future M cars:
M5 touring is scheduled for next year.
M3 is scheduled for next year.
M3 sedan is scheduled for Autum next year.
The reason the cars were there was for BMW to be able to show them prospective customers during the fashion show.
She was really friendly and nice to talk to and I'll will try to contact her for a test drive in either of the cars.
The 335i must be the first small coupe with a comfortable backseat, it was almost as comfortable as the backseat of the Lexus IS. Great job BMW

What do I think about the M coupe? Forget what Clarkson has said about it. The M coupe is pure sex, it is really that gorgeous. It is a sexy as a black Cayman. Though I have to say that sitting inside it is like sitting in an Audi TT. The roof height is low and view from inside the car isn't really that superb if you aren't into very track orientated cars. The seats had good side support, very sport but had a nice thickness to them which made them feel comfortable. I had not been inside an M car before and one thing I especially liked about the M coupe was the steering wheel, thick and soft.

I also got a chance to hear the engines sing and they both had different characters reminding me of the 997TT and the 997 GT3. One has a deep roar typical of turbo charged cars while the other one has a more sharper sound leaning towards the sound of an F1 car.

The price tag placed behind the wind shield of the M coupe wasn't pleasant at all. 595 000kr(excluding i-drive) but then again it is an M car and a very awsome one. I'll get back to you as soon as I have spoken to the dealership lady about a test drive.

It damn tight. I can tell you this. All it needs is a superb looking M-package and life will be over.

Nor have I!!

Haven't seen the Z4 M coupe either, sure it looks great though!

Glad that the 3er looks much better in the flesh, I was, and still unsure about the looks of the car when I saw the first pictures!

BTW, hope you get the test drive, both cars have great reviews!

GrimReaper will become famous soon enough
Re: I'm loving BMW even more now.

It's not that the 3'er Coupe looks ugly to me, but the side and rear profiles just look BLEH. I love the front though.

Re: I'm loving BMW even more now.

New BMWs never look as good in the pictures as they look in real life. It just is that way. I didn't like the E60 5er, 6er or even E90 3er when I saw the first pics but now that I've seen them IRL I'm loving them! Even the pre-facelift 7 series that I never liked looked much better in metal.

I had the same opinion as you but the side and rear profiles don't look akward in life. Some cars don't look good in pictures, like the Cayenne.
