Well, that is a Mk4 golf which started production in 1998, so it's not that old, laptops where around way before then!

I'm gonna be the voice of reason here. I know that some official documents are forms that are required to be typed out, because my dad is a tax lawyer, he deals with some of those, and they have an electric typewriter to type letters in the little boxes they give you. I'm thinking that's what it's for.
