Re: Coolest home ever?

See, what gets me about some of these houses is not the initial buy-in price, rather, the price for the upkeep. When you have a 70,000sq/ft house, how much does the electricity, water, furniture, mowing the lawn, etc., cost? I'm guessing if you're paying $200million for a house then the upkeep costs for that house have to be atleast $10-$20thousand per month? that's 7 to 8 times what I make per month...F__king crazy.

Re: Coolest home ever?

This great English estate is up for sale ....yet another family falls victim to the British government's desire to destroy the class system by virtually bankrupting the old aristocracy with death duties -- they are only being replaced by a new social elite group of business leaders.

Re: Coolest home ever?

Those aristocratic mansions require a whole army of butlers, insane.

Here is a very nicely decorated living room, probably one of my favorites now even thought the sofas seem to hard and sterile for my taste. If i was wealthy I would love to have something very similar but as a reading room instead.

Yeah the ladder is a bit excessive, a short stol would have been enough.
