Horrific R8 Accident

You may remember we told you about an accident involving an Audi R8? Here’s another one, but unfortunately this time it’s fatal. The 27-year-old driver, from Gummersbach, lost control of the car in heavy rain. Sadly, he hadn’t been wearing a seatbelt, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say he appears to have aquaplaned at high speed before hitting the central barrier.

Our sympathies go out to the family and friends of the driver.

Poverty is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: Horrific R8 Accident

Sadly this happens everyday. Aquaplaning is so easy to catch you out, and not even quattro can save you then.

Re: Horrific R8 Accident

Day in and day out we see this happen to people and day in and day out we have to go home and deal with the fact that if that person had worn a seat belt they would still be alive... this is why we try to stay detached

Re: Horrific R8 Accident

You snooze you lose.

You drive a sport car too fast in heavy rain and don't care about wearing a seatbelt..............you die.

Re: Horrific R8 Accident

I feel sorry for the driver but if he had the seat belt then he would probably lived.

My condolences to the family, but honestly I have to say that he was pretty stupid for not wearing a seatbelt.
