Re: First swedish R8 for sale

Just converted that price into pounds, and it comes to 100k, a lot of money!

Thats over £20k more than the car lists for in the UK, I'm guessing it has a lot of options, but it still very expensive!

I happily choose a R8 over 997S

Re: First swedish R8 for sale

Well, looking at the pricing, for that car at least, it's into 911 turbo pricing, and I'd definately go for that over the R8!

Although for the cheaper 911 models, I think the R8 is a better buy because it has a lot more power, and also it looks amazing and should be quite rare, something that can't be said for the 911!

in Sweden base price for R8 and 997S is closer, much closer than R8 and 997TT.

Re: First swedish R8 for sale

That's interesting because in the UK, the 911 starts at £60,810, and the turbo version is £97,840.

The R8 costs £76,825 which is roughly halfway between the two cars!

You're wrong. The 997S is almost 200 000kr cheaper. The 997GT3 is the closest when it comes to price. The GT3 and R8 has the same asking price, the difference is only a few bucks.

Tight car but personally I'd rather buy this baby:

Re: First swedish R8 for sale

Yupp the R8 you posted was pretty expensive but that's because of the options it has. Check with Porsche and Audi's website. In USA and Germany the 997S has an asking price just over 80k and the R8 just over 100k. They don't compete all, the 997S is 20% cheaper.

well I disagree. R8 compete to 997S and not 997TT. Closer to price and almost equal in acc.
