Re: Which German brand do you care about the most?

Since you say so: I'll vote for VW. I suppose it's because I can't really see myself every buying any of the others due to the costs involved, so VW news is what interests me most. Other cars are faster and more luxurious, but not realistic purchases for me.

On the other hand, Audi comes second, then followed closely by MB. Audi, because their style (though on the verge of becoming too weird for my tastes these days) is elegant and not melodramatic, and because they're not the default luxury choice. I've always been a bit of an MB fan (there are more MB pictures on my hard drive than any other marque), but lately their directions have left me a little cold, not to mention the proliferation of model lines and variants.

Re: Which German brand do you care about the most?

Audi for a few reasons. 1. They pay my bills, the others don't. 2. They're still more or less the underdog compared to the other big two, and I see alot of strength in the "David vs. Goliath" philosophy. 3. In continuation of number two, I prefer to stay off the bandwagon and I can appreciate manufacturers who do the same.

Mercedes & Porsche both get runner up and BMWs are still too ugly, but they're slowly improving.
