A guy I know just bought a Lotus Exige S1 and 1 Oktober we might go to Ring Knutstorp - a track here in Sweden. We havent decided yet so stay tune and see what happen.

The car is a Lotus Exige, weight with full tank is 785 kg and the car has 180 hp and does 0-100 in less than five seconds but thats a standard Exige, this is modified and has 190hp so I expect it to be faster The redline ends at 8100 rpm :applause
But this car isnt about straightline acceleration, this car handles like a godess and spank a lot of powerful bimmers, ferraris and porsches around a track.

He owned a lot of cars before such as RS4, Alpina B3, SLK 32 but this is the funniest car he ever owned.

I have no videocamera, only a digitalcamera. You can make a little film with your camera but its no advanced stuff

i now what you mean, perhaps a 30 second mpeg.... my sony does it. comes out pretty decent. Just a quick flick of a burst on the track... might be plenty.

Oh man Im so tired. My legs are hurting. Its not easy to visit a track for whole day.

This trackmeeting was a meeting for Honda owners but other cars where allowed to drive to. So there where mostly Honda cars, Civic Type-R, the most common Honda. There were an Porsche 911, two Lotus Elise and and one Lotus Exige, BMW M3 E36 and an old Volvo 240 with 500hp, that car was very fast
Some cars missed the curve coming My friend with the Lotus Exige used R-tires for the day and of course it started to rain and he now knows how it feel to do a 360 degrees turn with a car Luckily the car and him wasn't damaged.
On the parking lot there was a silver CL 55 AMG and I thought alxamg came to visit me
All in all it was a great day.

I've taken several photos and shooting some films but I'm to tired to post them today, maybe tomorrow. One of my other friends took about 300 photos and I will post some of them as well

Just for the record, my friend with the Lotus are going to sell the car and he is thinking of changing the car for a Porsche 911 GT3 or 911 Turbo. I'm looking forward to it.

BTw Tycoon, I drove a BMW 530d E60 today, very nice car and also fast

Wow you seem to have enjoyed your day on the track . The Lotus looks awsome. Did get to drive one or two laps? The only track I have been on is a on a gocart track so I'm a bit jeleous of your experience. BTW where is Knutstorp located?

R tires are very hard to warm up and it is hard to run in th rain when so much torque is being pusehd, glad everyone is safe, and you had a good time, why is he looking to sell his car? Is he dissapointed, or not what he expected?

Anyways get some rest, thanks for the quick update looking forward to pic's when you get to them!

He like the car very much, most enjoyable car he owned and this comes from a guy that owned cars like BMW M3, SLK32AMG, Audi S4 (with 375hp), Audi RS4 and Alpina B3. He dont own the same car for a long time, he often buy them from Germany and then after a while he sell the car for a better price than he paid for the car in Germany. Its his way to earn money

Luwalira, there was some kind of a mistake, The drivers was only allowed to take a drive with passengers for a half an hour, unfortunately we almost missed it and went to eat Hamburgers instead, however I got one lap (I didnt drive), it was fun and also scary. I suggest you should go for a drive on a track at least one time in your life cause its one hell of a experience. Like I said he might buy a 911 GT3 or 911 Turbo next time so there will probably be more opportunites for a ride around a track but I dont think we have to visit a track everytime we want fun
