I have seen a car, actually a friends Peugeot 206, in which the tachometer was showing about 150km/h more than the actual speed. Even when it was switched off.

Nice to see that atleast some people are maxing out their Volvo's You guys are lucky you don't live in Finnland. There the fines are proportionate to your wealth and income. One or two years ago some millionaire computer geek got himself a 70k fine.

actualy that was Nokia's CEO , however he complained and paid "only" cca 9k eur....you wouldn't belive that right , hehehe.........and btw Giannis, huh, I dont know what are you talkin' about :/ ?

The one Luw was probably referring to was a (back then) Lambo-driving rags-to-riches-and-back-to-rags Internet millionaire.
The current record holder is a 'heir to a sausage empire' and he had to pay €170,000.
And some of Kimi Räikkönen's McLaren earnings have made their way to the Finnish Justice Department as well...

Probably the reflection from the flash made it seem the numbers were not there.

yes, but when it is sunny day + flash from camera (not to mentione turbulences when you drive 200+km per hour)......and btw you run out of fuel
