Actually Matt, I think that interior looks good.

This is just for fun you guys, don't mean any harm:

Late entry on this one, but I'll take the one on the left This direct comparison dates the 7 to old time design and certainly shows the S as a non-copy per the claims.

Just seeing these two interiors next to each other, it reminds me how good the 7er interior is, and how I prefer it to the S class! BTW, I voted for the 7er!

Really...I didn't expect you to select the BMW....

But there is a reason they call the S "Class"

Re: Kings Battle - S-class, LS, 7-series, A8 and XJ

I sorry, but I'm not saying I like the BMW just because it's a BMW, sure BMW is my favourite brand, but I like other brands very much as well, Porsche would have to come a close second to BMW!

Recently I have thought that the S class interior was better than the 7er, after seeing so many pictures of it, I almost forgot how good looking the BMW interior was, and just seeing these pictures together, reminds me how good looking the 7er interior is!

Re: Kings Battle - S-class, LS, 7-series, A8 and XJ

IMO the Audi cockpit is the most beautiful. The BMW and MB cockpits share the 3rd position. They both have their plus and minus sides. To challenge Audi they would need to combine their best features. For example the BMW's "double hump" looks much better than the "single hump" in the MB which is a "clumsy" detail in the otherwise beautifully designed interior. On the other hand the seat adjustments on the Merc are simplier and better-looking than the ones in the BMW.

Just seeing that image reminds me how dated the Jags interior is and how the whole range, apart from the XK needs to be renewed! Jag are in serious problems, they need to move with the times!

That Jag interior looks cheaply made to me.

I still think the 7er has the most interesting interior of the group - the Mercedes' is better put together though. I think however, the A8's is the most timeless.
