Re: Kings Battle - S-class, LS, 7-series, A8 and XJ

Has there been no update for the XJ since 2002 because that's when the picture is dated. On top of that, since when do cars this expensive (and it's quite modern too) have casette players?!

The audi and MB is well ahead of the beemer. The 7 is BMW's worst car by some margin.

Amen!

I am so in love with the A8/S8, and I also think the new S-class looks great. The beemer passes me by with no effect. Sure the facelift made the car less ugly, but still...

Really? Tell us enlightened one.... Have you spent any time in the 7? I was in a 750 LI the whole weekend and rest assured it isn't BMW's worst car. In fact Audi is way behind from my experience in the A8. But I want to hear it from you. Why is the 7 series so far behind?

Its called a car review, and the S8 beats the 760i comfortably in the handling and performance stakes and cant hold a candle to the S-class' luxury. BMWs dont make the best car in every class.

What car review is this? You know damn well that the S8 and 760i shouldn't be compared at all. I shouldn't even have to explain why they aren't in the same league.

From the way you guys are putting it, it sounds like you believe the BMW's interior is made out of the same material as a Kia. I don't believe the 7er has the best interior of the group, but it's not horrid like some of you guys put it.

.... Dude.. think twice before stating a comparison such as that. As Warot said... you can't compare those cars, especially when you're talking about handling and performance.

What ? ... again as Warot said.. you make it sound like the 7er has an appauling level of luxury. Take a ride in a 7er before saying it can't hold a candle to the S. It may not be better... but it aint far behind that's for sure. I've ridden in a E65 745Li a couple of times, sat in the W220 S-class, as well as the new A8, so I can talk about all three of these cars from personal experience, how about you?

You should stop thinking about candles, and think more about what you type, because you're only inciting useless debates with your fanboy comments. Don't take that as a threat, take it as some good advice.
