This one is from the Citroen Grand C4 Picasso, I reckon it is quite funky if that is the correct word.

Something more expensive this time: Maybach 62S

I really like the interior light design here. At the B- and C-pillar are three LEDs installed (I would like to see it in completely darkness). Looks awesome and in combination with the bright leather it is a great contrast.

Re: Discussion about interior ambient lighting

As we can see, the automobile industry has really improve the interior lightning!! But compared to the following photo, there are still a lot of differences and I think a car interior and the lights are more comfortable (if it is orange, blue, white or green) and has a better atmosphere then this:

Re: Discussion about interior ambient lighting

Speaking of airplanes, here are some Airbus with interior by BMW Designworks. Far nicer for passengers than for pilots.

The lighting effects are trickling down to lower-end models as well. Scion has had optional interior lighting packages during the past few years (though not executed as well as MB/Audi/BMW).

2008 Ford Focus

Mini

Even the 1-Series has had "puddle lights" for some time now.

My 5er has this featute... really lights up everything... My GF loves it makes her feel safer at night in darker areas having the lights surrounding the car

Yes, I notice that the 7er is the only car in its class with that feature of wood running all the way to the back of the rear seats. They really have made the interior like a lounge. I thought other cars would have taken to the idea, but it seems none has done so yet.

I must admit, I really like the A8's white light. If only it went across the dash like in the S.
Here's hoping the next A8 will have more comprehensive lighting! I have high hopes... But a dampener is that the R8 doesn't seem to have any of these white interior lighting.

Yup, that was what I was talking about monster!

PS. This is Mr. M... I'm using my dad's account now since I'm on his laptop.

I haven't taken the Maser photos yet, I'm now 1000m above sea level having a holiday.

Very nice ree. It looks very expensive. Speaking of Maybach... I do remember the Phantom having some LED white lighting.
