^ The S class is amazing... having been in my bosses many times at night I absolutely love it.... it flows across the dash towards and across the doors... its very well done...

The BMW 7 series is nice aswell but isnt as good as the S Class... Hopefully the new 7 Series can compete

In black/brown it's gonna look even more stunning because of the contrast. Personally I feel this white ambient lighting thing works best for dark interiors, especially black. Doesn't really suit our beige one.

Yes, there are also 2 (or 3?) LEDs under the flushed door handles.

I agree. Mercedes is unparalleled in this department. Can't think of any other manufacturer which does better.

I'll try to get some photos of the Maser at night soon.

They could have had a better design for it. The LED lights are placed underneath that ugly plastic strip that looks like a last min add on job, which it is, probably.

Re: Discussion about interior ambient lighting

After seeing the luxury models of Mercedes and Audi, I thought it is time to share some BMW 7-series interior pictures. I found these on 7-forum.com and the photos show a BMW 760iL with Individual Interior (Champagner)! In my opinion, here, the red ambient light looks just awesome and is comparable to the S-Class and A8!

Re: Discussion about interior ambient lighting

A nice little touch that I noticed the 7er has is the little white LED light in the door handles.

I must admit, I really like the A8's white light. If only it went across the dash like in the S.

Re: Discussion about interior ambient lighting

Ambient lighting of the E-class with panoramic roof which explains the 2 wide horizontal ambient lighting. I really like the ring or halo effect lighting above the front seats.
