Re: Celebrities and their cars

I guess I won't be posting pictures of blinged out cars again.

Just to neutralize the thread I'll post this picture of Lidsey Lohan beside her SL65.

Happy now Roberto?

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only hummer lover here. Although I like the H2 I hate the H3.

haha, how so? The Hum-Vee was a one of a kind car that could climb 60degree gradients... It can also play in 2 meters of water. It was literally un-stuck-able.
The H2 on the other hand... is a Chevy Tahoe (if you didn't know that, now you know) that has an overly fat body... and gets 10 mpg in normal driving conditions. And they cost over $50,000. I can think of about 100 cars I would rather buy for 50 grand.

Arnold is the one that started it all, that bastard. After he got the H1, everyone thought that that was cool, including me. But now you see freaken soccer moms, football players, high school kids driving in them and now I just hate it.

I really H2s sitting on 24 inch rims.
So you think putting 24" rims on a Chrysler 300C is cool? A lot of people, especially in the entertainment industry sure think so.

Re: Celebrities and their cars

Say it ain't so!:
50 Cent: "I just want something everybody else doesn't have," declares the megastar backstage at a one-off UK concert at Rockingham race track. He then unleashes a tidal wave of how and why he is going to butcher his Phantom. "I don't care if it messes up the electrical system. The roof is gonna be gone. I want something more sporty. I'm not an old man. That's why I wanna chop the roof off it. I'll leave the TVs. They had TVs in the package I got. It's fully loaded. I'll leave everything that's in there. I'll just cut the roof off. Make it into a 'vertible."

Well sure I know the H1 is technically a far superior vehicle to the H2, but I'm referring to civilian use here - the H1 is absolutely bloody ridiculous in the city or the suburbs - the H2 can at least be driven through the opening of a city parking building.

BTW - why did the H1 need to be so damn big - is that just an American thing?

To carry a 50 caliber gun on the top, hahaha. Lower center of gravity, huge suspension. Might as well be a tank on wheels.

My question to you is what is the point of an H2... can't go offroad and no one could need that kind of clearance.

Re: Celebrities and their cars

Warot, are you asking me to somehow justify the very existence of the H2 - I said I thought it was better than the H1 (for civilian use that is) - my God man, I still think it is a huge P.O.S.

Like I said the H1 was purpose built so I'm sure there is a reason for every design aspect. When you say so damn big are you speaking about the width? If so, my best guess would be so it was less prone to rolling over. Remeber it was used for Desert Storm so no trees around.
