Re: Five Car Dream Garage

Thanks for the responses guys. It's been interesting seeing how our lists differ.

After some thought, here's my list:

'06 Pagani Zonda F Clubsport
Colours: Ehh, I can never come to a final descision when choosing a colour for the Zonda. Silver, blue, white and unpainted carbon fibre are all possible choices for me, but at the monent I'll go with dark metallic red w/beige leather interior.

This choice is set in concrete. Never rotates, never changes.

'07 Porsche 997 GT3
Colours: Carrara White w/black leather interior
PCCB, Sports Chrono PKG, Luxury seats

Though I had a thought to include the Wiesmann MF4 GT, I eventually decided on choosing the GT3 as I just could not resist. Fantastic car, both inside and out. The GT3RS was also a consideration, but I think the standard unit is hardcore enough...

'07 Lexus LS460
Colour: Mecury Metallic w/black interior
Preminum Pkg

Ok, I must to admit to having second thoughts as to choosing the LS. Yesterday I got the opportunity to see a silver Avantgarde C300 (my second sighting of the new C-Class) and absolutely loved it. And that being said, I just about went with a C63 AMG, but felt too guilty leaving the LS460 out (lol). Love it too much.

The IS-F was also a consideration for me, but having yet had the chance to see it in the flesh, nor having heard any driving impressions whatsoever, I felt It had to be left out.

'07 Mercedes-Benz CL63 AMG
Colours: Pewter Metallic w/black interior

Solid, well built, beautiful, powerful; the Perfect GT.

'01 BMW Z8
Colours: Silver w/red & black interior

After some serious thought into what my 5th car should be, I have came to conclusion that the BMW Z8 is just about perfect. The 993 Turbo was always a favourite of mine, but considering I already have a GT3, it seems pointless to have two 911's. Additionally, I put thought into either an SUV or a small yet fun and cheap car, but couldn't come to a solid decision. Not only is an SUV is a little too big for me, but I question whether I'd actually use it. Had thought about a Civic Type-R or maybe an S3, but in the end the Z8 seems to be my best bet. Not only is it beautiful, exclusive and fast, but a it's drop top (something obviously lacking above).

Re: Five Car Dream Garage

911 GT3: No explaination needed.
Brooklands: When I want to feel like Bond and Bruce Wayne.
Range Rover vogue: British work horse with plenty of cargo room
Zonda F Roadster: I'm in love, sorry CGT
C63 AMG: It's always good to have a smaller car, especially when you want to keep a low profile.

Seconds thoughts already?

Though I love my list, I feel as if I'm lacking something more "down to earth", something more pratical. Maybe a Ford Focus ST, or the new Accord (saw one yesterday - looks great). I'll happily keep my list as it is right now though.

Sure it might not blend into the surroundings like a mondeo but if you black it out completely, smoke the tail lights and the rims it might go unnoticed*So not true *

But it's much more discrete than most of the cars mentioned in this thread.
