My car has internal bleeding :'(

took the car to the dealership crank is damaged and the dealership wants to order an engine assembly to repair it whos into mechanics over here who can help me out. I guess martinbo is ..

im depressed need to sort this out soon.

does anybody think that reliability would be affected after fixing it?

Ahmed: salam bro , sorry to hear that .. but u know .. don't be sad .. it happened to my father's car previously when his car just had 10000Km ... the new engine was fixed and the car's reliability remained stable .. so don't worry .. just try to make sure to compare ur current engine performance with the one it replaced .. and don't forget to break-in the new one .. as u've just bought a brand new car ..

But they wont change the whole block, just the assembly. Pistons and stuff.

not yet .. been in contact with an infiniti dealership in dallas .. ive been kinda busy with this issue .. updates will come soon

Ahmed, good luck with the repairs. I hope it all comes right for you soon.

P.S. It's probably safer that they replace the pistons, con-rods and crank in one assembly, especially if there has been uneven wear on the big end bearings.

What exactly do they say is wrong with the crank? Bent?

Thats exactly what theyre gonna do, but theyre also replacing hoses and such, its the whole assembly, I havent asked what exactly it was. Ill check it out though.
