Tis the Season, A Love of Convertibles!

A rich relation has died and he like I, loved convertibles. He has left you a car allowance, but it can only be used on convertibles or roadsters and for only 6 choices. Current production only. No Tagra type vehicles either!

1. Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG:

2. Aston-Martin DB9 Volante:

3. Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster:

4. Ferrari F430 Spyder:

5. Aston-Martin V8 Roadster:

6. Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet:

I was going to go with 5 choices, but that was too difficult. As it turns out, 6 wasn't any easier because some truly great machines were left on the cutting room floor: 335i, Gallardo Spyder, XKR, M6 Cabrio to name a few.

Lower weight, superiour rigidity, lower drag coeficient ... can be found on coupes.

Driving around in a convertible is a feel good kinda thing, i don't really think convertible drivers really push their car while driving, they just want to enjoy the fresh air and the sense of unlimited spaciousness. Some people are willing to accept that convertibles are heavier, not as rigid and can't handle has well as a coup, but as long as the driver is happy with the driving experience, that is the only thing that matters. i think Merc 1 can explain better since he has a CLK convertible.

2) Pagini Zonda Roadster F
3) Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster:
4) SL55 AMG with performance package
5) Aston Martin V8 Roadster
6) SLK 55 AMG

Driving a cabrio is not that bad! It's more fun, than driving thrillment!
