IT has to eventually come to the point were cars have to much power... and i think BMW has hit it on the head with effiiecent dynamics... why keep pumping more HP out of engines and using more fuel when light weight technolgies and effiency seems the best way to improve these already stellar cars... I think more emphasis needs to be on effiency rather then more HP every generation

^well the new V8 and V10 arent known for their low fuel consumption ..
but i get your point...
lets see if the low torque 507hp M5 can keep up with the plus 550hp RS6
i doubt it but lets see

The Rs6 will be alot a heavier with a similar engine and AWD system

i do thik it will be quicker but i do not think it will match the M5 in many other departments that make the entire package of a sports sedan

As I was told in a earlier thread by Just_Me, "kill" is pretty strong word. I don't doubt the RS6 will lead the pack performance wise, but I don't see anyone of these outstanding vehicles running away from the pack!
