I would love to see maybach in this segment. I think a lot of people want to see what the new Bentley will be like. I personally hope it doesn't look like an oversized Bentley Flying spur. This current design is timeless.

Hard vote. I rate these two near indentically.

In the end, I voted for the Rolls Royce because I prefer it's interior design.

I guess I'm in the minority here, I'll take the classical looks of the bentley over this Barge-of-a-car Rolls any day.

I`d take the Roll Royce by a long shot. The design is newer and to me look more upscale, ( I can`t wait for the coupe if it ever comes on the scene)

The Rolls is surly fit for a King. The Bentley is too old fashion and just not sophistacated enough. The style is very 1980s, thats an era when sophistication in style by designers was just beginning to show and slowly develope and evolve.. That developing stage has gone by now.


Sure the Rolls is "Old World" in styling but it is indeed timeless in design. I`ve said it before, this car will look good 50 to 100 years from now.
You can`t say that about the Bently.

The Bentley lines are rooted in the Brandy and Cigars school of luxury, in a bad way. It's classically handsome, but in the same way it's politically incorrect in a "paradigm of yesteryear" kind of way.

The Rolls is crass luxury's state-of-the-art. It would seem putridly vulgar were it not for the fact that the fine details were cared for. Yes, it's obnoxious, but it's obnoxious done with the utmost finesse. That they decided to bring the aluminum hood to production as an option is all that more perfect.

The top end of the Bentley range needs some detail overhaul to remain contemporary. Cars like the Azure are starting to look like new old stock.

I'm still torn here because I like them both, but I think I'm leaning towards the Rolls because I'd rather have the Arnage over the Azure.

The RRPDHC reviews have been slightly disappointing though, the performance is good but not as good as the Bentley Azure's. I guess this is a Rolls though, it is not a performance car. There have been no complaints about build quality though -- and it is the most rigid convertible vehicle in the world.
