Re: The PHOTOSHOP Thread

Here is one I did...think I posted it earlier. A lttle rough on the edges. Reduced the car to a proportional size and masked it, then placed it on the background and did some tweaking.

Not bad. Did you do this with Adobe Photoshop? Might want zoom in closer when removing the edges and instead of using the Magnetic Lasso Tool, use the Polgonal Lasso Tool.

Re: The PHOTOSHOP Thread

I agree Chris...I used Elements 4 Magic Tool to mask it and then did the rest in CS2. The secret is really zooming in to trim edges...my hand is really not that steady anymore and I have a problem with detail stuff.

Some programs are horrible at cutting out the edges. ArcSoft Photostudio for example is horrible when it comes to cutting out edges. Adobe Photoshop in my experience (using a PC, no a MAC) functions the best.

Re: The PHOTOSHOP Thread

Here is one of my sister. A friend shot this image and sent it to me and I removed the glass...on second look, I should have also removed the partial glass in the right hand corner of the frame. I had to play dress designer because I did not know what was behind the glass. I just cloned a design that came close to the colors that were showing...

Excellent job. That's essentially what I did with Vin Diesels face, at least the parts that were not covered up by my face.

When using the clone tool in such cases, a lot of guesswork is involved.

Here's another one. I call it, the C116.
