Thank you Jack for posting that. Well, any argument that a quality issue would rise with the increase in size has to be adandoned due to the evidence provided by NevadaJack.

1024x768 works fine for me. Besides, people still can enter pictures that have lower resolution should they for some reason prefer to do so... it'd be a slight disadvantage but if the photograph itself is good enough it'd get votes anyway.
