My weekend back home...

No real particular good photos, just had a camera on my way back and while out and about in my hometown of Omaha, NE

Unfortunately I missed most of the colorful fall colours of early October, but I still got a few.

One of my favorite roads...

mmm, I love my A4....

Harvest...

I like this tree...

Nuclear Power...

some church...

Some houses...

Some shots of the city...

and at night (I know it's bad)

Sunset, I really wish I could have gotten more of these from different areas but unfortunatley I was unable too and barely got this one, this was the most amazing sunset I have ever seen...
I didn't edit this at all other than resizing it.

Staggeringly beautiful. I'd love to see scenery like this in my own country...

Very nice! I can understand how one would always consider a place like that home
I bet you have some beautiful starry skies there too at night.

Re: My weekend back home...

Choleric please excuse my attitude at this point and time. I have just been watching some scary movies, and the scenary really....well....brings back memories to movies such as Children of the Corn, Sings, etc.

Nice pictures nevertheless.

Re: My weekend back home...

Very nice images. That area of the country still has that American spirit look. On my next cross crountry jaunt I am going to stay north and see some of our vast farmlands and rural scenes. Beautiful Choleric...

Haha yeah I can totally see that, I feel that way a lot too, especially during Halloween time, there always are haunted house set up on farms out in the country around this time of year, scary stuff.

Out in the country definatley, one of the reasons I love it, but in the city not so much.

I'm a city boy myself, have been all my life, I just have a lot of friends and such who live out in the small towns surrounding the city. And of course I love being out and soaking up the scenery, I love Nebraska, I don't think I could ever move away. In fact a big reason I love Omaha is, you get all the big city ammenities and atmosphere but at the same time you're so close to the country and the open land.
