BMW E24 635CSi. Hey guys, just askin' a little favour from you folks. Does anyone know any general things about the E24 635CSi? I love these cars, and I'd be delighted to have one of these cars for my first car. They're fairly cheap, and they do look good, but five-speed manual versions are a bugger to find. But the bad thing is, insurance rates will possibly be fairly high and I have no idea about the reliability of the car. But boy, oh boy, will this car be the coolest if I had one. So does anyone know about the general reliability of this car? And please don't just put some BS here like "It's a BMW, it must be reliable!" - I want specifics, I want as much information I can get about the car, to avoid making a big mistake. Thanks in advance.

Re: BMW E24 635CSi. Not sure where you're located, but there is a 1986 635Csi at Kelowna BMW (in British Columbia, Canada). If you're not in NA, shipping might cost a lot... If you want to check it out, do a pre-owned vehicle search at bmw.ca. It's going for less than $13,000 CAD.

Re: BMW E24 635CSi. These older BMWs but it's always good to know that those BMWs were bulletproofs. The pre-E36 cars were are extremely solid. However, if there was something that I would look out for is the suspension. I have no idea how easy it would be to find spare parts if your car broke down though.

Re: BMW E24 635CSi. Here's a little something from Evo. It's about the M635CSi, I'm not sure how much of it applies to non-M models... - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER
