  | Richard Hammond in extreme car crash OMG this is really sad news... Hammond crashed in a high speed test of a jetdriven car called the vampire.. the crash happend today 18:00 CET.. He crashed at a speed of 450km/h.. His condition is said to be very critical..he was responding when they took him to the hospital in Leeds.. This happend under the shoot for the new Top Gear Season.. He is married and has 2 young daughters.. This is really extremely sad.. lets all pray that he survives.. | Top Gear's Richard Hammond in critical condition Top Gear's Richard Hammond in critical condition: Richard Hammond, one of the presenters of TV's Top Gear, is in critical condition following a car crash. Mr Hammond was hurt while filming an edition of the show near Leeds. He was reportedly trying to set a new land speed record for Britain in a jet-powered Vampire car when it overturned. | Re: Richard Hammond in extreme car crash Holy hell! This is tragic by all means, I hope he makes it a full recovery. I've heard of people who've crashed at similar speeds as well and yet managed to recover fully. Wonder if the next season of Top Gear will be put on hold?  |
