Teen Allegedly Kicked For Spitting on Busta's Maybach

What would you do if someone spat on your Maybach? I think Busta went a little too far with it, if that's the case. I'm sure the little punk did it on purpose, but he didn't deserve a beating.

Face time with Busta's foot
Beating victim recounts rapper's rampage

DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITERS

One moment, Roberto Lebron was telling Busta Rhymes he was a "big fan" - and the next thing he knew, the rapper was kicking him in the face.

That was the dramatic account offered yesterday by the 19-year-old Bronx man, whose allegations of a Chelsea beat-down landed Rhymes in his latest scrape with the law.

"While I was on the ground, he was kicking me in the face," Lebron said yesterday. "I saw him kick me."

Lebron's crime, he said, was accidentally spitting on Busta's ride on Aug. 12.

"Me and my friends were walking across the street. I spit on the street and it landed on a moving car. It was a Maybach. That car stopped, along with two black SUVs.

"People came out and they were walking up to me. We realized it was Busta Rhymes," Lebron said in a phone interview arranged by his lawyer.

"He asked me, 'Homie, did you spit on my car?' I said 'Sorry, I didn't mean to. We're big fans of yours.' That was the last thing I said," Lebron recalled.

"One of his people hit me in the face and I fell on the ground" - and then Rhymes came over to finish the job, he said.

Lebron said the star and his crew kicked and punched him in the middle of Sixth Ave. near 19th St. - then yanked his Nike sneakers off his feet and tossed them away.

Rhymes' beefy posse kept Lebron's three friends from coming to his aid, and bolted after about two minutes, he said.

"I guess they got tired of beating me up," said Lebron, who was a student at John Jay College of Criminal Justice until he took a full-time job hooking up televisions in hospital rooms.

Lebron filed a formal criminal complaint on Saturday, and cops busted Rhymes after his concert at Randalls Island.

Rhymes, 34, spent a night in jail as cops tried to use the arrest to grill him about the unsolved Feb. 5 murder of his bodyguard, Israel Ramirez.

Ramirez, 29, was gunned down during Rhymes' video shoot in Brooklyn, reputedly because of a rap-world beef with Tony Yayo, a fixture in 50 Cent's posse.

Police believe Rhymes witnessed the slaying and his refusal to cooperate has stalled the investigation.

The rapper's lawyer said the assault arrest was simple "payback" for the Ramirez case.

Lebron's lawyer, Gregory Tembeck, countered his client was still shaken by the attack that left the teen with a concussion and a split lip. Lebron plans to file a civil lawsuit this week.

"This is not a case where he was looking to exploit a star," said Tembeck. "He was obviously bewildered why he was beaten on the street. Nobody should be subjected to this."

"He doesn't think he's going to be buying any more albums from Busta Rhymes anytime soon," the lawyer added.

I dunno, I'm not yet fully convinced the kid did it on purpose. If you're walking alongside a busy street and hawk a loogie, it can easily land on an approaching car. Sure it's careless but if what he said is in fact true, then he did not deserve the beatdown. Yell in his face, yes; kick him in the face, no.

Weird story. To be able to spit at a moving car you would have to be standing on the adge of the pacement facing the road, and can you really do that without noticing that two black SUV and an MM is going to drive past you?

If someone would have done that to my car, my ghetto mentalitly would have been telling me to stomp the guy right on the spot like Busta did. But I would probably you yelled at the dude and then left him alone.

Sure you can. Just turn your head, spit a chunky one with all your might straight out into the middle of the road and you're almost guaranteed to hit a car coming up behind you. Now if they were coming towards you then no, you can't miss something like that.

He shouldn't have spit in the first place. Whenever I spit, I make sure no one sees me.

I wouldnt actually hit him that bad, the only thing I would do is rub his face on the place he spat on just to make sure it becomes clean and shiny the way it was
