The Biggest Car Fan of them all!

I was thinking it would be interesting if you stated your case for being the biggest car fan!

Tell us:
  • What age you started getting interested in cars?
  • Why you like cars so much?
  • Why you think you are the biggest car fan ever?
I'm sure you can say other things, can't think of other things!

Enjoy!

My first word was "auto".

I think I win already, but just to add I wanted to be a f1 racer when I was a little kid, never had action figures but instead toy cars with me 24/7, played with lego, only so I could make my own cars. Dont know why I like them so much, im just attracted to them. Oh and whenever I was driving somewhere Id always say the anme of the cars I saw, well only the nicer looking ones like audi' mercs and bimmas.

Re: The Biggest Car Fan of them all!

My first word was "auto" too. I learned about different makes before I was three and was able to identify just about every car on the road when I was six.
The only toys I ever wanted to play with were toy cars (and legos). I had lots and lots of toy cars... I started reading car magazines as soon as I was able to. I checked out books from the library that were in languages I didn't speak properly, just to see what kind of cars were made all around the world.
When I got my first internet connection years and years ago the first thing I looked for was information on cars and pictures of them.

I still subscribe to several car magazines and read them through even though I really should use my time for something more constructive.

So, what do I win?

We'll have to wait for other people, see what they know!

Weirdly, my first word was car, the second one was tractor.

When I was younger I have loads of toy cars, which I 'drove' around the house all the time. I got car magazines before I could read properly, I just used to look at all the pictures. I now have 100s of car mags, and subscribe to CAR! Also I celt model cars, in size 1:18. Currently I have about 20 of them, 5 of which are BMWs!

Considering I couldn't speak a word on my third birthday due to learning difficulties, so can't boast that I knew all the car names before my third birthday.

I only got into F1 about 3 years ago, I used to be football made before that, went off it a bit.

I have been into BMWs for about 8 years, and will never look back!

I am intending to get a career with cars, not sure which job though. Would love to be the guy fine tuning the next M5 on the N-ring though!

At birth I came flying at really high speed out of moms vagina screaming "Vroom vroom!"

My future was pre determined.

Re: The Biggest Car Fan of them all!

I was conceived inside a fuel tank.

At the age of 1 I was able to have a 5:1 ratio and I was extremely economical.

At 9 I was the first inline 6 that was producing 333hp at the crank and was completely naturally aspirated.

I ultimately will say that I am a driving machine
