Work in Progress: Revell 1/24th Scale 2006 Mustang GT Well, for all of those who don't remember, I build model cars. I've posted some pictures of my older models, if you didn't see them, well... here's my Photobucket: - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER . Moving onward, my newest project is a 2006 Mustang GT, which will be a Shelby style throwback, at least color-wise; it will be a white base with blue stripes. Here's the progress I've done thus far; I just got the paint in the mail today. Everything thus far is Cobra Colors; the reason for the black primer is the fact that they are Fire Pearls, which react best with a black primer. Without further boring you, here are some pictures. I'll keep updating as I go. White plastic ![]() Black primed ![]() First coat of white... I'm as skeptical as you at this point... ![]() Comments are welcome!

Re: Work in Progress: Revell 1/24th Scale 2006 Mustang GT ![]() ![]() I think I'm going to end up using the whole thing of paint... but I don't think I'm gonna get the white I was looking for... oh well, still going to go with my original idea. Anybody have any ideas on how to paint split stripes? I get to mask down the sides, but tape is too thick for the middle. Do I use a straight edge and X-acto, or is there an easier way?

Re: Work in Progress: Revell 1/24th Scale 2006 Mustang GT I'm not skilled at this but I guess using an exacto knife is the best way to go for the stripes. this looks good, looks like Sparkling graphite, which is cool.
