Re: The What Do You Do For A Living Thread

I have one semester left until I get my mechanical engineering bachelor's degree from virginia tech.

Then I'm planning to become a quality engineer (either drivetrain or acoustics) for BMW. The problem is I don't know which plant I can start at. Unfortunately it might have to be at Rayong, Thailand which is tiny, but I'll move on eventually.

I would love to start working for the ///M department and eventually get my MBA.

Well, I'm not in school at the moment... I'm afraid that I'm a bit of a late bloomer (for more than a few reasons), and will have to wait a little while longer. Once I eventually get my ass in gear, I'll be looking at getting a degree in either journalism or education. I must admit that I'm more gung-ho on the latter of the two.

No doubt dude, and I'm fully aware of that.

I had a series of problems earlier in my life which attributed to a prolonging of my education, but come January I'll be on the path to sorting them out. Hard work and all, I'm looking forward to it.
