Order from amazon

I would like to ask for your help.I am considering buying a gps unit,the garmin nuvi 770 since the price is dropping every day and if available in Greece is much more expensive here.If anybody has tried to order from amazon,what are the procedures?Is there any chance to loose my money and not get the gps?Is it safe to give your credit card number?I dont know what happens with the currencies,my bank account has euros,how are they going to take the money in dollars?Should i convert euros into dollars?What about the gps warranty?Who will be responsable should the gps doesnt work and who will fix it?

Lastly,are there any comments on this unit or should i try something else?

I am sorry for all these questions but i couldnt find an e mail address to send.

Unfortunately Amazon.com does not send any other stuff than books, CDs & DVDs to Europe. Especially not electronic devices of any kind.

You could try with other sites, like Pixmania, Kelkoo, cdiscount. For instance, I ordered my laptop at cdiscount, no problem. I use eBay also, but mainly for used things.

There is always a risk by ordering something by internet, but it is quite safe now.
