iPod Question

my uncle just installed an Alpine radio system for his car, with the built in iPod connector. now, he wants to leave the ipod in his car, and my question is, can it withstand the heat? when the car's not in use, actually. he uses the car on maximum basis (travels outstation very often ).

but i was just wondering if it's advisable to leave the ipod in the car with the heat, when he's not using the car. oh, it's a Nano he's planning to buy anyways. thanks in advance.

No problem at all. My buddy in Cali had his ipod docked in his car 24/7. As long as you don't leave it parked in the nevada desert nothing will happen.

I guess, it would also be more advisable to leave the pod either in the center console or arm rest compartment.

i think he's gonna leave it in the glove box, since there's where the connector is.
