Thumbs down Most taxed countries

Most taxed country:

SLOVENIA

Eg. income before tax:

1 million Euros ... net income after tax: 398,503 Euros (60.1% tax)
200,000 Euros ... net income after tax: 86,903 Euros (56.5% tax)
100,000 Euros ... net income after tax: 47,953 Euros (52.0% tax)
50,000 Euros ... net income after tax: 27,627 Euros (44.7% tax)

Even more taxed than Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Netherlands, Italy etc

Now you know why I can't be rich ... even in the case I had an opportunity.

Today I filled a tank, 11.09kr/liter. Some gasstations take around 11.40-11.50 kr/liter. Diesel cost like 10.20-10.70 kr/liter.

Im going to the states in April, Im curious to see what it costs over there.

Gasoline tax here in Sweden is somewhere between 60-70% alcohol is dangerously high too. Only god knows how high the tax would be on sex if prostitution was legal.

Today in our capital metropolitan area the average price for 95E is 11,72 SEK/liter. The average price for diesel is 9,36 SEK/liter.

(Exhange rate I used: 1 euro = 9,1456 SEK)

LOL Here the fuel taxes will be raised next year and they are also going to raise the tax on alcohol. Under the previous government it was lowered but now they are citing the public health issues.

In my town 87 Octane is just under $2.70/gallon(~4 liters) and 93 Octane is a few cents under $3.00 per gallon.

Here's a link to prices at different gas stations:
