your logic doesn't really prevail, what about "apple"? would you say ai-ple? or "corn" as see-orn?

Cee or AI is a sound which means it is ending in a vowel...but the Fact that Zed doesn't end in a vowel makes it pretty stupid and turns it into a word. Am I making my logic clear now?

Dude, I can give you an explanation all day long if you want. I'm quite good at coming up with explanations to explain my logic. The fact is, if you don't like Zee then don't use it. I don't like Zed and I will never use it.

just some fyi: zed is the most common form of pronunciation for the majority of the english-speaking people outside the united states.

Zee for me also, im in the US so its obvious. If I was going to say the car Z4 i would admit that Zed sounds so much better, not that i ever say it like that

We pronounce it zeb-ra in Australia, not zee-bra

I should be more comfortable with Zed due to my background but I like the American Zee as well. Zee is easier to say than Zed, and there are some names that would sound strange using the Zed version; ZZ Top comes to mind.
