Don't be alarmed...

...if I start reposting some of my older testdrives in the Car Review section.

Most of them were posted on the C&D forums, which are going to hell. There are also rumors floating around that the C&D forums will be shut down and to prevent these reviews from being lost forever, I am going to repost them here on a more reliable forum.

So don't be alarmed.

It's true. The C&D forums are crap now.

I used to love posting there but they're just so bad now. All the cool guys have left. It's a ghost town over there.

Thank God for GCZ though.

Meh...the others are quitters. Besides, once you get past the software's quirks, it's not that bad.

Although, I generally hang out in the ARBT only, now...

I've tried posting there again when I posted the new C-Class pictures and the forum runs slowly on my Firefox and IE browsers. Plus, when posting, the screen still jumps to the bottom. ANNOYING.

Like I said...quirks.

It has been promised that they are actually looking into a different software (according to Bartender, anyway). We'll see...

If that happens, I might post there again. Unlikely though. I sometimes visit just to see what's going on. MPLexus owns the luxury section with Lexus topics that no one replies to.
