Yes, it true. My good old Nokia 9300 is from this morning on HISTORY.

This fine little piece of finnish innovation was "cought" between the door and the body of my god damn volvo, and the door just hit it, when i was closing it. Goddammit, i still can't believe it.

Don't expect pics, since as soon as i damaged it, i went straight to Nokia, to see if they are gonna save it. They said hell no, but i let them give a try.

So, i am in the market for a new phone (again). I can't spend a fortune is a smartphone again, so i will just go and get a (relatively cheap - 200eur.) Motorola V3i, which i always loved.

Anyway, now i will get my next smartphone sometime in september, since this is the time i will need it the most, plus, i'm kinda broke these days...

You better don't get a new Nokia smartphone, I have N70 and it sucks, really sucks in every sense. I've had 3650 for 3 years and it was hundred times better than this POS. My friend has N80 and it also sucks. Don't know what to tell you...

i've done exactly the same thing with my benq sc660 two years ago, i smashed the door on it because i have some pants which losses everything you have in the pocket when you seat. I seat in my car and when the phone fall, i smashed my door on it !
But it has only a small scratch across the exterior screen and works very well since this incident

Tycoon, i already have a Samsung since i have two numbers. One for work, one for the rest, and i just don't like it. It may be me, (it's a clamshel) but it looks really cheap!

I have a Samsung, the E900 and its fantastic, i have in the past had Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Motorola and this is the best phone i have ever used, it makes Sony Ericsson look like they are working in the dark ages (no offence to anyone that has an SE phone this is just my opinion).

true, but i was referring to my last phone, the T610 and some firends who have slightly younger than my old SE and they aren;t particualrly impressed with them either. I don;t know about the newer phones from sony Ericsson because i haven;t used a K600i, but i had problems with the T610 and some issues with my then supplier, Vodafone and that put me off mobiles phones for quite some time, as many sour experiences do.

as i say, i don't know much about the K800i so if that is better then i stand to withdarw my latter statement as i was referring to the Sony Ericsson's that i had used. Sorry if it caused you any offence.
