| Re: ~Blood Diamond~ I've heard about it and i'd really like to see it  As for Leonardo Dicaprio, I wasn't a fan of him in the earlier days, but i've seen so many great movies staring him, in my opinion he's a great actor. Please write a review when you come back   |

I too wasn't a fan, but more over recently i think he's been doing some good acting, perhaps he grew into it... I just dont see him as the action/007 type. But i would like to see how he does here. Hopefully this evening it wont be too late, i will give a quick review without spoiling th emovie for anyone. | |

| Re: ~Blood Diamond~ I have not been a big fan of LD, but after I saw him in The Departed I came to the realization that this guy has very good talent. If you have not seen that movie go see it. He is superb and truly shows that he can act in critical positions as an actor. Blood Diamond didn't get to good reviews at Rottentomatoes.com which is my source of information. Either way the conflict in Sierre Leone is one that should never be overlooked. Many bad things have happened there and at the cost of mutilation and human lives. | Re: ~Blood Diamond~ Well back from a long day out.... Mike i saw Departed, excellent movie, he played very well. Blood Diamond, what an intense movie.... amazing how many people get killed for just one of millions of diamonds. And how the government and diamond industries are involved. A terrible fate for the African people and thier families that have to live and deal with this everyday war. Rebels killing families and ripping the countries into shreds. A hard shock of reality. Movie was gory and real and extreme as far as action, it had a great story line, Leonardo gets two thumbs up.... he was a great actor and played and depicted the reality of this everyday life to perfection. Without giving the movie away, i would say its a must see, and gets an 8 in my book.... It is very long (about 2 and a half hours) but goes by very fast. One of the best movies i saw this year, its original and emotional and certainly a must see. |

| Re: ~Blood Diamond~ I'll try to download it or something. The movies is launched in perfect time before people gets a chance to run to Tiffany.co and pick up some diamonds for their loved ones. Rapper Nas has even written a song called blood diamonds which will be on his new album. |
