Donnie Darko Hey guys, I just saw Donnie Darko, a bit late may be I know. Although I think I liked it, I'm a bit confused, maybe its because I watched a bit late at night. Anyways, to those of you who've seen it, can you please shed some light on what exactly went on in that movie?? Thanks

Re: Donnie Darko http://www.germancarzone.com/movies-...nie-darko.html Seen it five times, and it took me 4 times and some reading online to put all the pieces together. Combined with some imagination of course. It was a year ago I saw the movie last so I don't remember enough to shed some light on everything, but try to do as I did. Watch it some more, watch the directors cut, read online and just think alot. One of the best movies ever ![]()

Re: Donnie Darko Indeed, and the cool thing is, the movie was the director's first film. Last edited by Zonda; 03-15-2007 at 10:40 AM..

Re: Donnie Darko This is by far one of my favorite movies. I remember the first time I saw it, I was a bit... um under the influence, so it left wuite an impression on me, I have seen it many time since I just love it more and more. But then again I usually like all really wierd movies. As for shedding light on it, umm, what in particular? I think for movies like these its best to just make your own interpretation or you can go and find what others say.

Re: Donnie Darko I have to agree with you guys. There is no single explanation for such movie. I guess it was done that way so that you make what ever you want from. True that it may be uncommon and unconventional but I think that its simply brilliant.
