| BMW X3 2.5si X3 is automatic and is equipped with the exclusive package, leather auto seats,17 alloys, cruise control, auto wipers etc.I opted the auto lights which are really great and work efficiently. The engine is the sweet straight six 218 hp and makes a wonderful sound when fired up.The average consumption is currently 12,7 l/km.I travel with 150 and the revs are at 3500 rpms. The setup of the car is adequate of the BMW brand,ie sport.Suspension is stiff and does its job greatly. At high speeds the car is stable and not affected by the wind.At corners you feel very safe and no inclines at all.The ambiance is luxurious the seats comfortable and the dash slightly faces the driver so everything is within reach.I have tried the car offroad but it isnt a good choice as an offroader. The suspension is too stiff and not comfortable for the occupants. All in all i would call it a great choice for the tarmac but not brilliant for gravel. The auto lights illuminate the corners and the lights follow the steering wheel. I really enjoy driving it and is an ultimate driving machine. Last edited by tobajara; 12-01-2007 at 01:09 PM. |

| Re: BMW X3 2.5si Thanks for this review!! It shows, that the X3, if you want to travel etc., is best motorised with a diesel engine. 12,7 litres isn't to bad, at all - but an average of under 10 litre would be preferable - especially because it's not a SUV like the X5 or ML! |
