True this car is cut and paste job of styling cues from all across the automotive spectrum (Mercedes CL to Chrysler Sebring to Nissan Altima), but, but, but....it works. This shames all the Accords and Camrys we have to look at here in the U.S. on a daily basis.

Re: 2008 Mazda6 Thread

The car exterior is really well designed but the interior is not very sexy, i even think that visual quality and appeal dropped from the previous generation to this one.

Re: 2008 Mazda6 Thread

Current gen Mazda 6 looks good to me, this one even better. Imitating you say? In this case even if it's so, i have nothing against that, as Marcus said: it works!

Re: 2008 Mazda6 Thread

I think this is miles away from the Lexus style of copying. I second Marcus that this works. Lexus' doesn't ....e.g. look at the IS, I never figured out where that design came from. The butt of the IS is fugly...and the overall exterior seems to have been designed by a 7 year old during vacation time....

Damn straight... this looks good to me compared to its segment because it battles Hondas and Toyotas. If this was to be pinned against GCs and other luxury cars it wouldn't look as hot.
