| Road & Track: Audi TT 3.2 quattro vs Porsche Cayman. ![]() Sports coupes are our dream cars. We will likely lust after a sports sedan for its blend of practicality and performance, but what we really love is the sexy seriousness of a no-frills 2-door — a car whose shape is formed for beauty and speed, not practicality. Spry fender-flared, arched-roof coupes have always been the icon for youth and the mid-life crises. For good reason, as these are the cars that will never be a practical choice, only an emotional one. On our last day Stephane and I sat at Caf é Roma in downtown Munich and debated which we'd take home. For him the practicality and capability of the TT was more than enough to win him over. The edgy nature of the Cayman made it my favorite, but I had to concede that the TT offered a lot more, especially for the price. | Re: Road & Track: Audi TT 3.2 quattro vs Porsche Cayman. Normally I would choose a Porsche over a Audi. Yes Cayman is the sportier car and I usually pick the sportiest car but a Porsche should look good too and the Cayman fail here. Best part is the rear and thw worst part is the front. |
