A couple of months ago the same carmag tested 335i Coupe with Automatic and meassure following times:

335i
0-100 km/h in 5,3 sec
0-160 km/h in 11,9 sec
0-200 km/h in 18,7 sec

So the Coupe is faster than the Touring but of course it weigh less.

No surprise for me, 335i is brand new and the other two are dated.

its not the winner that intrests me, its the acceleration times. 335i is a real bargain.

Last time they tested 335Ci with automatic against CLK350 and now I dont know yet but my guess is A/T. I let you know later...

Acceleration times from stand still mean nothing in real life. How many times in real life conditions are you going to stop the car and then accelerate to 200 km/h?

Great results for the 335i wagon! Clearly faster than the S4, especially when speeds increase. But I guess that twin turbo I6 slowly runs out of steam compared to the monster 5.4L V8 in the C55 when speeds are well above 100km/h. As speed increases it seems the C55 wagon will pull away from the 335i wagon (which is consistent with the European test data we see comparing the C55 sedan to the 335i coupe).

But still, that's mighty impressive for the 335i wagon, which costs significantly less than the S4 or C55 wagons. See guys, forced induction for a BMW isn't that bad, right??
