Let me remind you that as an engine configuration the straight 4 cylinder is not a balanced configuration in general. |

Of course, this must be attributed to the new and stiffer E90/E92 frame, allowing it to have more suspension travel and spring while maintaining excellent handling (ie keeping the tires on the road). For the W203 C55, the only way they could improve the handling over the previous W203 C32 was to make the suspension 20% firmer, causing the ride comfort to decrease. Thanks for the data about rolling acceleration times. Frankly, it's not too suprising that the C55 would take the crown here, with its massive torque that's available relatively low in the rpm range.
