Re: [scans] AMS - M6 vs Gallardo vs Z06 vs 997 TT

JUST RESERVING THIS SLOT FOR THE ARTICLE I WILL TRANSLATE ASAP. WATCH OUT FOR IT.

They're talking about how "comfortable" they are in the placings below. Who buys a sports car for comfort?

The final words for the Lambo and Corvette were just lame.

The Placings

1st Place: BMW M6
The biggest car and most comfortable at the same time. Maintenance costs are within limits - as well as the fascination for the car, which is purely centered around the V10 engine.

2nd Place: Porsche 911 Turbo
The engine is brutal and pushes the Turbo into 2nd place. The comfort is good: never before has a Porsche been this comfortable.

3rd Place: Corvette ZO6
The best Corvette, beating the Gallardo and showing what it is capable off with its light-weight construction.

4th Place: Lamborghini Gallardo
The most expensive car in this comparison.

BMW M6
AMS wanted to know if this car is even a sports car. It's heavy, big and seems almost like a GT. The interior is big, the cockpit lacks emotion and the V10 is powerful. At 8250 RPM, the pistons travel a distance of over 20 meters / second. Acceleration is good, though the rear wheels sometimes have trouble putting all the power to the ground.

Lamborghini Gallardo
AWD should ensure an equal distribution of power to the ground. Indeed, it works faultlessly. Traction is excellent. Engine response isn't the best. Driving the car takes a lot of concentration because the steering wheel feel is heavy and so are the pedals. The Lambo got the worst fuel economy in our comparison. As a practical daily driver, the Gallardo fails miserably.

Corvette Z06
The Corvette ZO6 is a car for professionals. 637 Nm of torque are hard to control. On wet roads, the Corvette's ESP is overworked and cannot control the car: fun on the racetrack, but not on country roads. The V8 engine is rev-happy and somewhat conservative in terms of engine sound. On the plus side, the costs are low and the ZO6 was the cheapest car tested here.

Porsche 911 Turbo
The Porsche Turbo is another car with excellent traction. The fat rear tires and less-powerful torque numbers ensure a balanced traction. The Porsche Turbo is faster than the Corvette ZO6, until high speeds are reached. Here, the lighter Corvette with its brutal motor overtakes the German car. Steering precision is excellent. We found the Porsche 911 Turbo to be more comfortable than the BMW M6, despite the M6 offering more interior and luggage space and being the better long-distance driver.

Re: [scans] AMS - M6 vs Gallardo vs Z06 vs 997 TT

Damn, 80 to 120 elasticity of the M6 is unbelivable. Just imagine what an CSL could do. Best 0 to 200 time for the M6 is 12.8 sec not 13.
Corvette on top as fgar as performance goes, Porsche 997 TT again disapointing. Gallardo best looking of the bunch.

well, actually there are people who prefer comfort and sport, over at m5board.com we have members choosen M6 cause its easier to live with and used for daily basis than proper sportcars. to be correct M6 is no sportcar like Z06 or Gallardo, M6 is a GT. AMS think the M6 is the best mix of sport and comfort.
but I know what you mean, but this is AMS and they seem to prefer comfort over sport.

anyway Karma for you....
