I'm just saying that is a slower time, and as I said, slower than the competition, but the Gallardo has achieved better. I think the Gallardo is one of those vehicles were it's acceleration times really vary and that could have something to do with the different tyre spec, the Gallardo SE tested by Sport Auto did 0-200 km/h in 14.4 seconds.

I think it would be better if Lamborghini were owned my another company than Audi, then the cars would be faster

supercars isnt only about laptimes, acceleration is important as well and here Gallardo fail compared to the competition.

That's what I had in mind when I wrote my previous post. The fact that the Gallardo even gets spanked by the M5 which even weigh more indicates that there is something wrong with the Gallardo. The 520hp can't even beat the 997TT eventhough it has a 40hp advantage. The Gallardo is a good performer but far from impressive unlike the other cars in the test.

) : is the V10 in the Gallardo developed by Audi? I read from somewhere that it is a supersized inline5 from a Golf, so to speak.

That's true, it does have a big power advantage, but the Turbo has the manic torque advantage, the Gallardo has 510Nm and the Turbo (without the overboost on) develops 660Nm starting from just 1,950 rpm. Sadly the Gallardo SE is also heavier than the 997 Turbo, a full 60kg heavier!!

I think U swiched those around
7.3 If it whould get 13 I whoudnt have a problem with it
I guess it just needs more torque then since it has the highest bhp number
